Thanks for stopping by my blog about All Things Public Domain! That’s me….I mean my new German Shepherd, her name is Bo. I know stupid name, but my son named her. She’s an awesome dog.
My name is Scott Parat and I’ve been online since 1999 or so. I remember the big to do about computers and the year 2000 otherwise I couldn’t tell you when I got started
Actually I started with some network marketing scams and lost a ton of money…somehow I stumbled on Interent Marketing and the rest is history.
I have an interest in Graphics and have a site that I use for my Online Graphics Business, you can stop by and check it out, if you’re interested in having some graphics done, drop me a email and mention this blog.
One of the first sites I created is at www.desktop-wealth.com and just recently added a blog called Internet Marketing Tips, Tricks and Resources ….check it out, there’s some good information there. It’s not very pretty, since both the blog and and the main site were the first ones I did….so they are a little embarassing…but again, good stuff.
Here’s a little history on this blog. I started it as an experiment. It started as basic part of a linking experiment I was doing on public domain images free and one thing led to another, next thing you know I’m spending time trying to make it a real blog…filled with good info about Public Domain Resources in particular I wanted to focus this blog on public domain images free.
The first thing you need to know is the Definition of Public Domain.
I first ran across Public Domain Material from a guy named Dave Valleries and purchased his course. I liked it so much that I purchase the rights to sell the product along with some other public domain related materials and you can see it at Public Domain Package. I learned what was in the public domain, how you might use it and how much was available. I was immediately hooked. I created a book on West Nile Virus from public domain resources, my first attempt and wasn’t a big seller, but the experience was worth thousands.
There have been a few others who I’ve learned from regarding Public Domain information. Guys like Yanik Silver, Russel Brunson, James Jones, various forums and the latest a real Public Domain Genius….Tony Laidig, known as The Public Domain Expert.
I’m not sure how I stumbled on Tony’s material, however, he’s been generous with his time and information and I’ve been able to listen to a few teleseminars that were just jam packed with information. He’s proven to be by far the most prolific of all the other teachers I’ve run across…..and his information is clear, concise and he is passionate about the subject.
Here’s the best part about Tony Laidig’s material. He systematically takes you through various aspects of public domain studies. For instance, on the subject of public domain images, The Public Domain Expert describes public domain images, then he shows you where to get public domain images, and here’s the best part……Tony Laidig meticulously walks you through several real life case studies….these are projects he is doing or has done himself. The book on Public Domain Images is called The Easy Money Picture Project and I highly recommend it if you have an interest in learning how to work with images and in particular public domain images.
I’ve purchased just about everything that Tony has done or created on Public Domain Information and the purpose of this blog is to promote his products and share some of the ideas that I’ve learned from some of the various Public Domain Experts I’ve learned from through the years….in particular I wanted you to check out Tony Laidig…. The Public Domain Expert, a title well deserved.
Here’s some of his products.
The Easy Money Picture Project
The Pubic Domain Magazine Secrets
Like I said, this is some of the best stuff that I’ve read. I’ll be sharing some of the things that I’ve learned, however, it would do you well to begin to build your library of public domain resources and start purchasing and investing in your public domain education. Start with The Easy Money Picture Project….I think it was over 200 pages. Print it out and read it, you’ll be amazed at what you learn.
Finally, if you need to contact me. Please use this Contact Form, I’ll get back to you as soon as I can!
Best Wishes for your Public Domain Success,
Scott Parat
By the way….I’m interested in hearing what your experience has been online and what questions you might have regarding public domain.
